After Vegas, I drove out to Oklahoma City on a "business trip", where I basically played parent relations rep to the Baseball team's parents. It was soooo fun! I love Oklahoma City. I gave the parent's their tickets at each game and got to hang out with the ticket representatives from other other big 12 schools. I even had a day off, where I drove to Tulsa to see one of my dear childhood friends, JoVonna Phelps.
Then, Craig and Jo came up to watch a game! We ate together at Toby Keith's and caught part of Tech's game vs. A&M that almost got rained out. Oklahoma City had some great shopping compared to Lubbock, so I enjoyed myself there. My mom came up for a few days and we went shopping together and enjoyed "Bricktown", which is downtown OKC. Our hotel and ballpark were both in Bricktown. It is a really nice and newly renovated area. I could totally live in OKC. My mom also brought me a carload of my childhood "things" -she cleaned out my old room and brought me everything she could fit in the car. Haha. It is kinda bittersweet. I am pretty sure my room has changed TWICE now at my parent's house. First Keegan took over my orignial bedroom and I moved to his, then Connor took over that one. I would say I am completely kicked out of my parents house now and no longer have a "room". Just a guest room now :)
