Back to The Vegas

The weekend after cattle working, I headed out to Las Vegas for one of my best friend's Bachelorette Party. It was so fun! Addie didn't find out she was going to Las Vegas until a of couple weeks before, so it was a huge surprise and we kept it a secret for a long time. Now "the five" (what me and my best friends from college call each other) has been to Las Vegas once before during our senior year of college. That trip we were high rollers staying in the Bellagio and living the life for a whole week. This trip was short and sweet, but still fun. This time we stayed in a more economically friendly hotel, called The Excalibur. It looks like a medevil castle. I know most people think of Vegas as dirty, trashy, and sinful, but I really like it. I don't gamble, and I still have a great time. I just like all the hotels. They are sooo beautiful. Plus there are a lot of fun activities to do in Vegas! Okay, moving on to the bachelorette. We all arrived on Friday. Moe and I got in before everyone else, so we dropped our bags at the hotel and went out for a quick bite. Our friend Lauren met us after we were done eating, and the three of us decided to walk to the Fashion Show mall to look for something to wear that night. For those of you that aren't familiar with Vegas, the Excalibur is at one end of the strip, and the Mall is at the total other end. They are probably a good three miles from each other. We decided it would be a good idea to walk all the way there and back. Needless to say, this took forever. When we got back to the hotel everyone else was there. We began getting ready for the night and showered Addie with some lingerie. We got the gold treatment that night (like most girls get in Vegas) and got free admission to some clubs where we had a great time celebrating Addie's last hooray before marriage.

The next day we spent at the pool since it was sizzling hot. Saturday night was pretty low key, where we at a scrumptious meal at PF Chang's and then walked around the Bellagio for a bit before heading to bed. I think we were all exhausted from Friday night.

It was a quick trip, but we all enjoyed spending time together. I hope you had a good Bachelorette Party Addie!
