Josh gets a job!

Praise the lord my husband is employed! He will be working full time for Plains Capital Bank, a great local bank based here in Lubbock. They also have branches in Dallas and Austin. It is a good company to work for with great potential to be promoted (the last guy in his position was promoted in 6 weeks!).

So, my car shakes when its gets over 50 or 60 mph. I think it needs realignment or tires rotated and balanced. I am going to try to find time to do that today during work or after work. I just hope it doesn't cost a lot of money. I also feel like every time I go get my oil changed or to a car place the guys there try to cheat me out of money. They think just because I am a girl, I know nothing about cars. They try to convince me that my car is so broken and needs all this work done. I am not stupid people! My honda hasn't had any problems as of yet so don't try to convince to spend all this money. If my filters need changed, my husband can do it for $10 as opposed to the $40 you will charge me. Plus, my filters probably don't even need changed....they just want money so they tell you that. It is just really irritating.

Homecoming is tomorrow! I predict Texas Tech will give Nebraska a good beating just like Missouri did last weekend. I have a lot of cleaning and more work of putting stuff away at the house this weekend. There is still soooo much work to do and stuff sitting around in boxes everywhere. Josh will be at the farm with his brother this weekend. :( . I am kinda sad and I hate staying alone (I am a wimp). I wouldn't mind if we had our dogs at home with us, but they are still with Miss Diane and Mr. Jeff. Josh will be picking them up this weekend! YAY! Well I am off to the athlete's dining hall for free food Friday. Yummy.
