Lubbock or bust

Well, I am here in Lubbock and I am LOVING it. It felt like I never skipped a beat and never left. I love the people here. The job is going great, besides a few minor personnel related frustrations but hopefully those will be resolved by Monday or Tuesday. Basically they can't get my new name right in the system which prevents me from logging into anything.

Right now I am watching the Tech vs. UMASS football game from our office windows in the stadium. I forgot how much I missed this!

Josh is moving all our stuff from Dallas as we speak. He is a saint. I had to be in Lubbock earlier than him, so he said he could move all our stuff BY HIMSELF. I got most of it boxed up for him (he helped some), but he had to put all the boxes and all our furniture in the trailer. Doesn't seem like a big deal, but you should see the amout of stuff and pieces of furniture we have acquired since being married. It adds up, and it is a lot for one person to handle. It took him hours to get everything loaded. Hours, people. To top it all off, the trailer is a piece and was swerving all over the road. He is stopped at his aunt's house in Ft. Worth right now and has to unload EVERYTHING and put it back in the see if the changing up the weight distribution will help. I feel so so so bad and wish I could be there to help. I have been calling every couple of hours to check up on him because I feel so terrible! The poor guy. He is probably going to be so sore tomorrow but then will be hard at work on our house for the next few days with his dad. I think I have the best husband ever!!

That's all for now. Keep Josh in your prayers that he finds a job here soon. Love you all.
