Pregnancy Highlights:
How far along: 14 weeks
Size of baby: 3.5 inches, size of a lemon
Total weight gain/loss: Not sure, we don't own a scale (which I think is AWESOME, by the way. Too many people obsess over the number on the scale. Why not just focus on eating right, exercising, and whether or not your clothes are still fitting?) so I will find out at my next Dr. Appt on September 16.
Maternity clothes: None, but I bought some, including a "bella band", just in case :)
Gender: Undetermined, but I am 98% sure it is a boy.
Movement: None
Sleep: Sleeping good, getting up twice to use the bathroom. I am NOT looking forward to the day I have to sleep on my back or side. I am a stomach sleeper and enjoy it very much.
Symptoms: Occasional headaches and stomach aches, occasional queasy feelings at times. Tums are my friend!
What I miss: This week I miss clear skin. Experts say you either have beautiful, clear, glowing skin when you are pregnant, or you get ACNE. my mom said she always had beautiful skin during pregnancies but that is certainly NOT the case with me. I have acne everywhere since becoming pregnant - face, back, chest. My skin was pretty good before the baby but I think that was because some birth control pills (I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen) help acne. In fact, a dermatologist when I was in high school told me to RUN to the gynecologist to get a prescription for Ortho Tri Cyclen if I wanted clear skin. Now that I can't take birth control pills, and I have all these crazy pregnancy hormones, my skin is terrible. I promise it's really bad - Please don't stare :). Maybe it will clear up in a few weeks, but they say it may last the whole pregnancy. Yuck.
Cravings: soups, cheeze its, bagels & cream cheese, fruit, pizza
Best Moment of the week: when I heard my brother ask, "so, how many months does it take a baby to grow and come out? it's like 3 months right?" OMG are they teaching you ANYTHING in high school biology? Maybe we need to talk about the birds and the bees.....I think he is lacking the common sense gene. But it's okay, I lacked common sense in high school too. Maybe I still do? :)
What I am looking forward to: finding out the gender!! the anticipation is killing me! we are still back and forth with baby names, but we got some good input this weekend when I was home visiting.

Love it! Beau and Keegan are so old now! You still look great and try not to worry about your skin, mine went through phases I had acne for awhile then it cleared up. Enjoy every minute babe!
Congrats guys! Daniel and I are so excited for you...we can't wait for Kason to have another buddy to play with!!! I must say that when I was pregnant with Kason, my skin reacted the same way as yours. Unfortunately it lasted all pregnancy until a few months after...but it eventually went away and I didn't have any more problems. Bummer, I know, but totally worth it for your new bundle of joy!
