2009 Cotton Bowl

Last week I worked at the 2009 AT&T Cotton Bowl. It was in Dallas, for those of you that don't know. It was nice to visit Dallas again and we had a good time. The Hospitality room at the hotel we stayed at was unbelievable. It was a special room just for Texas Tech Athletic staff, players, coaches, and their families. It was all you can eat, drink, play, and surf! As in wall to wall candy, food buffet, alcohol, juices, gatorades, water, ninendo wii's, flat screen tv's, ping pong, internet cafe, and more. I have never seen anything like it. I can't believe the amount of money the schools spend to send the players and staff members to the bowl game and then provide them with THAT. I should have taken a picture but of course I forgot. Here is a picture of me and some co-workers in front of the Cotton Bowl. It was bittersweet, because this is the last year the Cotton Bowl will be played in Fair Park in Dallas. Next year, it moves to the Dallas Cowboys new billion dollar stadium. Yes, billion. All in all, the Cotton Bowl was a neat experience and I am glad I got to enjoy it!
